In 1975, the Dutch company Adriaan Volkert Dredging Company arrived in Jubail with a mission to dredge and establish the industrial port. At that time, Jubail was a quaint fishing village, offering limited accommodations for visitors. To provide a comfortable living space for the crew and their families, Adriaan Volkert constructed Al Ventura Village amidst the desert, across from a small airfield strip.
Situated in what later became the suburbs of the growing city, Al Ventura Village evolved alongside Jubail. The once-small airfield is now part of the Naval base, proudly serving a section of the Saudi Arabian fleet. Over the years, Jubail burgeoned into a bustling city of around 400,000 residents.
Revitalize for today’s voyager
In 2015, recognizing the changing needs of the modern traveler and expatriate, Al Ventura underwent a transformation. Old structures made way for new, luxurious accommodations, featuring 4-bedroom villas and well-designed apartments. These were tailored for a lavish lifestyle, complemented by recreational and leisure facilities for all ages. The heart of the village retained its essence – vast open spaces, green fields, and single-level housing.
Nestled in the suburb of Jubail, Al Ventura strives to be an oasis of tranquility. The sprawling greenery in the village's core aims to provide a serene escape within the bustling city.
